Nurluk publishes independent editorial content about Breitling watches, individual collections, new releases and replica-market interpretations. This policy explains how we research, write, review and update that content.
Our Editorial Purpose
Our aim is to help readers understand what makes one Breitling reference different from another. Articles therefore focus on useful details including case dimensions, dial design, bezel construction, bracelet styles, movements, chronograph layouts and collection history.
We do not intentionally add keywords to a sentence where doing so changes the factual meaning of the original information.
Original Breitling Watches and Replica Watches
Nurluk makes a clear distinction between an original Breitling watch and a replica-market version.
If Breitling launches a watch, the article identifies Breitling as the manufacturer. We do not describe a replica seller or replica product as having designed, manufactured or officially launched the genuine Breitling reference.
Similarly, the movement, materials, water resistance, dimensions and official retail price of a genuine Breitling should not automatically be presented as specifications of a replica watch.
How We Use Specifications
Where possible, specifications relating to current genuine watches are checked against identifiable sources such as official manufacturer information. Historical references may require additional specialist or archival sources.
If information is uncertain or cannot reasonably be confirmed, we prefer to describe that uncertainty rather than present an assumption as fact.
Replica Market Terminology
Expressions such as AAA, 1:1, super clone, perfect replica and Swiss movement are widely used in replica-watch marketing but do not necessarily represent standardised or independently verified technical grades.
Nurluk may discuss those terms when relevant, but they should not be treated as objective proof of construction quality or origin.
Reviews and Comparisons
Our comparison articles concentrate on observable details. These may include case proportions, dial printing, sub-dial spacing, bezel alignment, bracelet construction and known movement configuration.
Where an article is based on published information rather than hands-on examination, it should not imply that the writer personally handled the watch.
Sources and Attribution
Information from manufacturers, publications and other external sources should be distinguished from our own commentary. We aim to avoid reproducing another publication’s wording when a fact can instead be explained independently.
Corrections
Watch specifications, dates and reference information can occasionally be reported incorrectly. If a material error is identified, we aim to review and correct it.
Readers can report possible errors through our Contact page. Please include the relevant article URL and enough information for us to understand the issue.
Updates
Existing articles may be revised when better source information becomes available, when a product specification changes or when an older article no longer meets our current editorial standards.
Meaningful updates should not be made solely to create the appearance that an old article is newly published.
Commercial Relationships
If Nurluk receives compensation, affiliate commission, a review sample or another material benefit connected with a piece of content, that relationship should be disclosed clearly where relevant.
Editorial Independence
Nurluk is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Breitling SA.
Our editorial standards apply whether an article discusses an official Breitling release, an older reference or a replica-market interpretation.
